Steve Cohen is at it again with his endless money pocket. By adding Carlos Correa to this NY Mets infield is almost unfair along with Fransico Lindor, Jeff McNeil, and Pete Alonso. I don’t think Met fans will be missing Jacob DeGrom this season with all these Offseason additions to every aspect of the team, and it doesn't seem like Cohen is gonna slow down until he brings Met fans a World Series. I can’t imagine not having to worry about money and being totally fine with being taxed $100 Million dollars for going over the luxury tax.
Honestly I can see Cohen trading for Rafeal Devers this season, then signing him to a $300+ million deal to make him strictly a DH . As I am a Red Sox fan, I know for sure that they are not gonna be paying him the money that he deserves as they have gotten rid of every homegrown talent they let get to free agency. I can go on and on about how frustrating Chaim Bloom makes me and Red Sox fans feel, and to see Steve Cohen doing what every baseball fan wants from their owner.
Immediately after seeing the Correa signing and his FOMO on the stacked NY Mets roster, checking on the odds of the New York Mets National League Winners at +440 and their World Series chances at +800 very enticing to throw a future on this early on.
