TGL Golf League adds 2 more premier golfers to the new innovative technology-focused golf league. This league is partnered with the PGA Tour and is going to be premiering in early 2024 with a live fan experience. The league set up is going to be six teams of three players, with only 6 players introduced, we still wait on 6 more talented players.
TGL has six names attached to the league thus far, all being top of the line superstars of the PGA. Tiger Woods, arguably the greatest golfer of all time, 82 career wins, 15x Major champion headlining the league alongside Rory Mcllory 4x Major winner and World #1 Rank. Justin Thomas, the 2017 & 2022 PGA Champion. #1 Fedex cup ranking and #3 overall in the world Jon Rahm.
This League already has captured my attention with the style of play and players they have featured, and there is still more to come which is crazy to think about. While LIV golf is signing TV deals with CW and has no interest from the golfing community. Tiger and Rory are planning on bringing this league in and taking over for Monday Night Football on Monday nights in 2024.
I can not wait to see who else could be joining in on this new style of golf to compete against LIV. The way this league is set up, it can have older players, that don't need to worry about walking around and putting stress on their body. LPGA golfers showing off their skills on a higher platform would be amazing to see them get the exposure they deserve.
